01About these terms
These proposed terms describe use of the StockVix website, downloads and purchases supplied by Odeysoft Technology in Malaysia. StockVix is inventory, stock and point-of-sale management software for Windows and macOS.
This page is a draft for review. It does not replace the Software License Agreement accepted in the app or the purchase terms supplied with an existing order. Viewing this page does not record agreement acceptance or activate a license.
The Software License Agreement governs use of the app. Order-specific terms govern the purchased plan and price. Nothing on this page excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
02Using the website
Use the website for lawful purposes and provide accurate information when requesting support, a trial or a purchase. You must have authority to act for a business if you submit information on its behalf.
Do not attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, abuse forms, impersonate another person or interfere with the website, licensing services or other users. Website content and screenshots explain the product; availability and compatibility should be checked before purchasing.
03Plans, orders and payment
The Pricing page and checkout show the available Monthly, Yearly and Lifetime plans, currency and amount before payment. Check those details and your email address carefully. Current purchases are one-time payments, not automatically recurring subscriptions.
Payment is completed through Stripe. A license is prepared after payment is confirmed. If confirmation is delayed, use the existing purchase-status page or contact support with your payment reference rather than paying again.
Monthly and Yearly terms start when payment is confirmed. A Lifetime license means the supported commercial lifetime of StockVix; it does not promise perpetual updates or compatibility with all future operating systems. Taxes and any order-specific conditions are governed by the checkout information and applicable law.
View plans and pricing04Activation, devices and transfers
A StockVix license permits use on one computer at a time, subject to the Software License Agreement and the purchased plan. Keep your license key and purchase email secure; do not share or resell them.
Activation requires an internet connection. At startup the app checks license validity online when possible. If verification cannot be reached, a valid signed certificate can permit use until that certificate expires. The app checks again when connectivity returns. This is not an entitlement to indefinite use without verification.
To move a license, deactivate it on the previous computer through Settings → License while connected, then activate it on the new computer. Moving business records requires a separate backup and restore. Contact support if the previous computer is unavailable.
An invalid, missing or expired license blocks business pages until activation or renewal. License invalidation does not itself erase your business records.
05Trial access
The Get Trial page displays the current trial duration and eligibility rules. Trial access requires verification of an eligible Gmail address. One trial is available per email; further requests from the same network address may require administrator approval.
A trial does not require payment and does not automatically become a paid purchase. Its expiry is shown in the issued license details. Do not create false identities or repeated requests to bypass trial restrictions.

If you have a purchase, activation or billing problem, contact WhatsApp support with your purchase email, payment reference and a description of the issue. Never send payment-card details, passwords or digital inventory secrets.
Refund requests are reviewed under the policy supplied at purchase and applicable law. This draft does not promise an automatic refund or introduce an absolute no-refund rule. It does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply to your purchase.
07Business records and digital items
You retain responsibility for your business records, backups, access controls, stock counts, tax settings and compliance obligations. Review calculations and reports before relying on them. StockVix is not a substitute for accounting, tax or legal advice.
Store and sell digital items only when you have lawful ownership and permission to transfer them. Do not use StockVix to distribute stolen accounts, unauthorized credentials, malware or unlawfully obtained license keys. The software does not guarantee that a third-party account, voucher or key is valid or transferable.
The app records business workflows; it does not itself send supplier orders or move external payment funds. You are responsible for the underlying sale, delivery and payment arrangements.
08Information and privacy
Business records are stored on your device. Licensing and update checks communicate with the configured service; they are not a hosted inventory database or an automatic upload of your customer records or digital inventory secrets.
Website purchases, trial requests, support requests and newsletter subscriptions use the information you submit to provide the requested service. Checkout uses Stripe; applicable forms may use Google reCAPTCHA and contact requests may use IPinfo for country restrictions. Those providers have their own terms and privacy policies.
Do not send sensitive business records through ordinary support forms. You must have a lawful basis for information you collect from customers, staff and suppliers. Contact us with questions about information submitted through this website. This section is a summary, not a replacement for a dedicated privacy notice.
09Ownership and prohibited acts
StockVix software, branding and website materials belong to Odeysoft Technology or their respective licensors. Software is licensed, not sold. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.
Except where applicable law permits otherwise, do not redistribute or sublicense the software, resell keys, bypass license checks, extract signing material or remove ownership notices. These terms do not prevent you from exercising rights granted by an applicable open-source license.
10Updates, support and availability
Use official downloads and back up business data before installing an update. The app provides update checking in Settings → About; downloading an installer does not silently install it.
Support is available through the contact channels on this website. No fixed response time, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or perpetual support for old versions is promised. Features and supported operating systems may evolve; review release notes and system requirements.
Third-party operating systems, payment services and other external services are outside our control. Their availability and policies can affect the services that depend on them.
11Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, software and website services are provided as-is and as-available. The warranty exclusions and liability limits for app use are set out in the Software License Agreement; this draft does not expand or replace them.
No statement here excludes liability or a warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. You should maintain independent backups and appropriate controls for important business operations.
12Misuse and termination
Material breaches, unlawful use or licensing abuse may result in restricted access or termination in accordance with the Software License Agreement and applicable law. Ending a license does not transfer ownership of your business records to us.
Ordinary license expiry is governed by the purchased term. Contact support about disputed restrictions or an activation that you believe has been blocked incorrectly.
13Changes and governing law
Any approved replacement of these terms should carry a fixed effective date and identify material changes. A later website revision does not silently rewrite the terms of an existing purchase or replace an accepted Software License Agreement.
The existing Software License Agreement applies Malaysian law and competent courts, subject to mandatory consumer law and any forum rights that cannot be waived. Nothing in this draft removes those protections.
14Questions and contact
